Adult Baptism, Confirmation, and more
Each year, during the season of Lent, a time of intentional preparation is offered for adults who desire to be baptized, confirmed, or received into the Anglican Church of Canada, or to reaffirm their commitment to Christ and the church. It is also helpful for anyone who would like a refresher or to deepen their faith. Baptism takes place at the Great Vigil of Easter, and Confirmation, Reception and Reaffirmation on a Sunday afternoon in May. See this year’s series. All are welcome.
Child and Infant Baptism
Baptism is a joyful occasion where new Christians are welcomed into the community of faith, and we are delighted that you are choosing this for your child.
Baptisms take place on selected feasts of the church year, in the context of public worship. Because infants and children are too young to make baptismal promises themselves, parents and godparents (or sponsors) commit on their behalf. A combination of Zoom and in-person preparation equips the adults in the child's life to do this work with and for young children.
