Do you have odd jobs around your house that you have been putting off? On Saturday, April 18th, you can book Cathedral Choir members and Young Choristers and their families to do them for you! We can rake leaves, polish silver, wash windows, do small repairs and other handyman-type jobs, haul yard waste away, do a dump run, move furniture, clean out garages, batch-cook meals, deep clean, wash cars, or pretty much anything you can dream up!
How it works: you book a team of 2-5 workers for a 2-hour shift in either the morning (10am-12pm) or the afternoon (1:30-3:30pm), after which you make a donation to our Choir Tour Fund (suggested $20 per worker, per hour). If you want to book both shifts (4 hours), you can! Workers would likely run the shifts together with a short lunch break.
Book by filling out this booking form, after which Alice Hunt will be in touch to confirm that we are able to take on your job, and to discuss details (such as any required tools, and if either you have them or we are able to provide them). On April 18th, your work team will arrive at your house, ready to work! All donations will go towards our Choir Tour to the UK in July 2026.
This time around, we are offering another service - if you have household items you are planning to get rid of, please consider donating them to us. We will pick up the items, sell the items on the secondhand market, and add the proceeds to our tour fund. You can arrange pickup by contacting Alice Hunt via the office or by finding her or Donald after the 11 o’clock service.
