CBC Interviews on Disaster Conference

Two speakers from the National Worship Conference spoke about responding to disasters and the church's role on CBC Radio's All Points West on July 17. Retired Langford fire chief Bob Beckett and Christ Church Cathedral Dean, The Very Rev'd Ansley Tucker (co-chair of the conference) chatted with host Jason D'Souza about the public's need to gather and support each other in times of sadness. 

Earlier in the day, CBC Radio host Gregor Craigie interviewed Blanche Gates, the 100-year-old Nanaimo recipient of the Companion of Worship Arts award at the conference.
