Are you feeling disheartened about the state of things in the world? Would you like to do something to help make a difference? Here is a practical way to put the Gospel into action. Come and join others to write letters of support, advocacy and encouragement for people whose human rights have been violated.
Write for Rights is the world’s largest human rights event, marked each year on, or near, International Human Rights Day, December 10. At the Cathedral we will be joining concerned citizens in over 170 countries to support 8 individuals or groups in Cambodia, Ecuador, Honduras, Madagascar, Myanmar, Norway, South Africa, and Tunisia whose basic human rights are being violated.
Everything you need to participate will be provided. Come to write one letter or several.
For more infomation or to obtain this year’s case lists so you can write from home contact Susan MacRae via the office - frontdesk@christchurchcathedral.bc.ca
Your words are powerful and can save lives. Join us December 6. Write a letter. Change a life.
