Live Music returns this summer at Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral’s Summer Recital Series 2020: “Listen live, listen local”

Christ Church Cathedral is pleased to announce the line-up for its 58th annual Summer Recital Series. Despite the pandemic, the series will carry on this year, featuring a line-up of beloved professional musicians (including Symphony players) as well as talented pianist Jorge Edouardo Carrizales. The series opens on August 1st with VS clarinetist Keith MacLeod alongside pianist Robert Holliston and closes on August 22nd with a much-anticipated Beethoven tribute by the Emily Carr String Quartet.

Due to the cathedral’s social distancing measures, there will be two showings of each concert, with attendance strictly limited to keep a group size of 50. Purchase your non-transferable ticket early to ensure your place. For those who aren’t able to attend in person, a live-stream of the evening showing will be available via Facebook Live.
