Choristers win award at festival

The Cathedral Choristers choir received the Ronahan Shield for Elementary School Choir of the Year after its superb showing April 9 at the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival. The festival juror highly commended their effortless top notes, breathing skill, and unified vowels. This was an amazing feat for the chorister group, which practices four mornings a week. The award comes only a year after the group was founded by Cathedral Director of Music Donald Hunt in January 2018.
