Cathedral joins Cross of Nails community

Christ Church Cathedral's application to become a partner of the Community of the Cross of Nails, based in Coventry, has been accepted. We are now looking for a date when Coventry’s Canon for Reconciliation can come to Victoria and present us with our Cross of Nails.
Cross of Nails (CoN) is a worldwide network of over 200 churches, charities, peace-building centres, and educational and training organisations, inspired by the Coventry story of destruction, rebuilding and renewal, and active in reconciliation.

Three principles of the Community are: healing the wounds of history, learning to live with difference and celebrate diversity, and building a culture of peace. The community is guided by the words ‘Father Forgive’ and prays the Litany of Reconciliation on a regular basis. Read MORE
