For some the coming of the Christmas season is not altogether joyful. It may intensify the absence of a lost loved one, recall the memory of some past pain, or simply highlight a season of loneliness or sadness while others are gathering and rejoicing. Blue Christmas is a service to acknowledge those experiences in community and be reminded that we have both an Incarnate God and church that embrace and support us through all stages and stations of life.
