Join us on the South Lawn beside the cathedral on Oct. 4 (St. Francis Day) at 10am for the Blessing of the Pets.
St. Francis was known for his concern for all God's creation, and particularly for his care for animals. We commemorate this saint's day with a joyous blessing of our beloved animal companions. So bring your pets, join us for a brief liturgy at the labyrinth end of the lawn, and have furry/feathery/scaly friends blessed by Dean Jonathan and the Rev. Bill Tarter.
