Revealing God's Presence in the World
Christ Church Cathedral is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia, and a proud member of the Anglican Church of Canada and the world wide Christian church.
We are a vibrant, welcoming community that welcomes and celebrates diversity - including spirituality, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. We aim to create a space where people of any faith or none can question and discover the sacred in life through openness, struggle, laughter and prayer. We share a common commitment to be in solidarity with the poor and marginalized, and to cherish Creation.
Always seeking new ways to know God and to invite people into our midst, we offer an array of services and events throughout the week. We're known for our contemporary family service at 9:15am on Sundays, our puppet-wielding Dean, and our embracing attitude toward newcomers and visitors.
Come and be refreshed!

People
The CCC parish (congregation) is made up of about 400 individuals and families who share an appreciation for the liturgy, a desire to live spiritually, and an intention to be in community with one another. All people are welcome at the Cathedral!
Clergy
CCC Clergy are devoted to the people and ministries of the parish and the wider diocese.
They offer counselling, visiting, marriage, baptism and confirmation preparation. They also lead the liturgies and guide the church in its worship and direction.
Staff
CCC staff work in the church office (the Deanery) and make sure the operations of the Cathedral run smoothly.
They organize services and events, take care of the grounds and buildings, deal with finances, answer questions, and provide support both to clergy and parish members.

Christ Church Cathedral Clergy
As Dean of Columbia and Rector of Christ Church Cathedral, Logan McMenamie fulfills roles in both the parish (the congregation) and the diocese (the wider Anglican community spanning Vancouver Island).
As Rector, he is a pastor and teacher who supervises all operations of the parish, working with the staff team and leadership to ensure the church vision and mission statements are followed. He also chairs the board of Christ Church Cathedral School.
As Dean of Columbia, he is second in ecclesiastical rank to the Bishop and supports the Bishop. With the Archdeacons and Regional Deans, he contributes to the administration of the Diocese. He is an ex-officio member of the Diocesan Council, the Diocesan Finance Committee.
Sue House assists Dean Logan McMenamie in liturgy and worship, celebrating the Eucharist on Sundays, visiting care facilities, preparing people for baptism and marriage. She is engaged in pastoral care with our parishioners and her work involves a special focus on the elderly.
Ed is a part-time priest working in the parish. He spends time with folks who cannot get to church for services, leads worship at a number of longterm care facilities, and provides valuable support during our Sunday worship.
Ian is a working priest of the Diocese - he participates in Sunday and weekday services. He was ordained on June 28th, 2009.
Honourary Priests provide support and relief to the working clergy of Christ Church Cathedral. They visit the sick and elderly, offer counselling to members of the congregation, and lead services when other priests are on holiday.
