In CapriCCio's final concert of the season, they will perform some of the earliest music ever performed in Victoria. The Intermedi della Pellegrina was composed in 1589 on the occasion of the wedding of the Grand Duke Ferdinando and Christina of Lorraine. This sumptuous collection of choral madrigals, solos and instrumental pieces was staged to display the magnificence of the Medici household in Florence.
