For the third concert in their Mendelssohn series, the Emily Carr String Quartet brings more Mendelssohn magic to Christ Church Cathedral with his String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major and the Capriccio from Four Pieces for String Quartet, Op. 81. The quartet will also perform the darkly evocative piece Tenebrae by the contemporary Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov.
