DESCRIPTION:Christ Church Cathedral and the Lafayette String Quartet are de
 lighted to announce their first collaboration: An all-classical program fe
 aturing Franz Joseph Haydn’s “Sunrise” Quartet in B-flat major and M
 ozart’s Quartet in D minor. Formed in 1986 in Detroit\, the Lafayette St
 ring Quartet still comprises its four original female members\, a distinct
  and welcome rarity in the classical music world. Now closely allied with 
 the University of Victoria’s School of Music\, the quartet has also perf
 ormed widely in Canada\, the United States\, Mexico\, and Europe. The 60-m
 inute concert will make use of Christ Church Cathedral’s recently-instal
 led 6-camera livestream system\, giving the at-home audience both birds’
  eye and closeup views as these skilled musicians share their craft. Donat
 ions will be gratefully accepted and split between Christ Church Cathedral
