DESCRIPTION:As part of the Cathedral's commitment to reconciliation with ou
 r First Nations neighbours\, the Reconciliation Ministry Team would like t
 o invite you to participate in the renowned “Kairos Blanket Exercise” 
 on Saturday\, April 18th\, from 10 am to 1 pm in the Chapel of the New Je
 rusalem. \nThis informative and interactive workshop led by Indigenous co
 ordinators will demonstrate the historic and contemporary relationship bet
 ween Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the land we now know as Cana
 da. Using blankets to symbolize the land\, participants will learn as the
 y ‘walk’ through situations that include pre-contact\, treaty-making\,
  colonization and resistance. Most people finish the exercise knowing and 
 understanding much more about our relationship with our First Nations neig
 hbours. The workshop is by donation.  Please register with the office by 
 e-mail.  All are welcome but space is limited.
