Marking Epiphany 2022 with a Solemn Eucharist

January 6 always marks the Feast of the Epiphany, the coming of the Magi, and the day which puts a final bookend on the 12 days of Christmas (remember that song?!?). In past years, the cathedral has shifted its observance to the Sunday beforehand. But this year, to highlight Christmastide as a period of merrymaking culminating in the twelfth night, we will be offering a Solemn Eucharist at 7.00 p.m on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

The Cathedral Choirs will be singing music by Antonio Lotti (Missa octavi toni) and Peter Cornelius (Three Kings) and the Reverend Canon William E. Morrison will be presiding.   And remember, it's bad luck to leave up your Christmas decorations past Epiphany!

Freewill offering. No pre-booking required.

Please note there will be no Epiphany Carol Service this year
