Emily Carr String Quartet performs Mendelssohn and Golijov at Christ Church Cathedral, Victoria.
About this event
The Emily Carr String Quartet brings more Mendelssohn magic to Christ Church Cathedral with his String Quartet No. 1 in E-flat major and the Capriccio from Four Pieces for String Quartet, Op. 81. The quartet will also perform the darkly evocative piece Tenebrae by the contemporary Argentinian composer Osvaldo Golijov. Don’t miss this exciting concert by one of the Island’s favourite ensembles!
