Christ Church Cathedral will be receiving its Cross of Nails on Sunday, June 16 at a combined 10.30 a.m. service,. We are privileged to welcome the Dean of Coventry, the Very Reverend John Witcombe. Dean John will offer a forum at 9.30 am that day to provide some historical context for us. He will preach at 10.30 am, and present us with our Cross of Nails.
This means, in practice, that we intend to join our partners in “healing the wounds of history; learning to live with difference and celebrate diversity; and praying and working for peace, justice, and reconciliation.” There are about 200 members of this community around the world, including 14 cathedrals in Canada.
