• PROVIDE a welcoming, caring and pastoral community;

• NURTURE the spiritual development of individuals through prayer and education;

• EXERCISE responsible stewardship;

• REACH OUT in Christ's name, to those in need through service and advocacy;

• RENEW the role of the Cathedral as the mother church of the Diocese;

• DEVELOP our relationship with civic authorities and other faith communities;

• CONTINUE to be a centre for music and other arts in Victoria;

• SUPPORT Christ Church Cathedral School as a Christian school in the Anglican tradition.
