Mission and Outreach

The Mission and Outreach Committee (M&O) of CCC is dedicated to providing assistance to cbsupper0 those in need, both within our local community and in distant lands. The Committee provides direct services to the less fortunate of our community and serves to enhance awareness within the Cathedral community to these important needs.

M&O is composed of active, vibrant and energetic individuals who are engaged in a wide variety of activities throughout the year. A steering team of approximately 12 members provides the organizational framework to support the work of the larger group. The committee provides a important management role, bringing together people, money, supplies and facilities, to make possible a number of outreach initiatives.

The major ministries supported by the M&O committee during the current year are: Breakfasts For The Hungry the first Saturday of each month at St. Andrews Church; and, the Annual Special Envelope Appeal. 12 organizations are selected annually for monthly congregational support throughout the year. Committee members are involved with many other local and national outreach activities. These associations enhance the presence of CCC in our local and global community, demonstrating the power of joining with others to make a difference in our society.
