The Rev. Ian Powell
Ian is a bi-vocational priest of the Diocese, who participates in Sunday and weekday services and, to a limited extent, other ministries at the Cathedral. That's because he also runs a small hotel company here in Victoria, whose principal asset is the Inn at Laurel Point (yes he accepts reservations at the end of services – or any time, now you mention it). -

The Rev. Nancy Ford
Nancy is the Deacon to the City. The changing face of our local and global communities requires creative responses from faith groups and other organizations tasked with caring with and for those who are marginalized in our cities and neighbourhoods. Nancy is engaged with individuals and groups whose focus is Social Justice. The goals are to promote awareness through education, and thoughtful productive action. Thus as a shared purpose, there needs to be a compassionate response to the concerns of today in order to create future possibilities rather than reactions to growing “problems”. Nancy appreciates ideas, suggestions and conversations on this mission-focused ministry. The dream is to promote multi-talented, multi-focal teams whose purpose is to advocate, support and nurture those who struggle in our city and beyond. Nancy is the Director of Deacons for the Diocese of British Columbia.
