Christ Church Cathedral Refugee Support Committee is pleased to announce a Spring series of Lunch and Learn: Refugee Experiences.
We encourage you to arrive at the Chapter Room any time after 11.30 a.m. on Thursday mornings for coffee or tea. Presentations will begin at noon. Bring your friends. Bring your lunch. Bring your curiousity. Please pass this on and invite anyone you think may enjoy this informative and provocative series.

May 25 – Refugee Sponsorship & Settlement on Vancouver Island - The "Big Picture". With the Venerable Bruce Bryant-Scott.
June 1 - Refugee and Newcomer Stories: Gregor Craigie (CBC radio host, On This Island) in conversation with newcomers to Canada (former refugees).
June 8 – Refugee Settlement Services in Victoria:
Victoria Immigrant & Refugee Centre Society (VIRCS) with David Lau (Executive Director),
Inter-cultural Association of Greater Victoria (ICA) with Elie Kozma, (Resettlement Assistance Program Manager),
Anglican Diocese of BC with Rebecca Siebert (Refugee Sponsorship Program Coordinator)
June 15 – Refugee Sponsors' Stories. Members of Constituent Groups that have sponsored refugees will talk about their experiences.
June 22 - Mental Health and Immigrants. With Adrienne Carter (Lead Counsellor) Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (CCIR)
